**The Prophecy Hackathon** is an open, asynchronous competition designed to showcase your use of Prophecy's new AI capabilities to solve meaningful, real-world problems. You’ll have **from April 20th to May 11th** to sign up for the free version, explore, experiment, and submit your solution.

## How to Participate

Three simple steps to enter the hackathon:

2. **Create a data analysis project** using Prophecy AI, with sample data or your own data

#### What is it?
An async competition where participants build data workflows and analyses using Prophecy AI to solve real-world problems — no live event, work on your own schedule.

#### When does it run?
**April 20th – May 11th, 2026 (11:59 PM PT)**.

#### Who can participate?
Anyone 18+ residing in the US, UK, or India. Prophecy employees and their immediate family are not eligible. #### What if I run out of AI credits?
During the hackathon, the credit ceiling will be raised to accommodate building projects with AI.

### Submissions

#### How do I submit?
Fill out the official submission form **[here](https://forms.gle/RjELaghKeywUUTiq5)**.

#### What must my project include?
Your project must be built on **[app.prophecy.ai](http://app.prophecy.ai/)**, and your submission needs a video demo around 5 minutes.

#### Can I submit more than once?
No. One submission per person; multiple entries may result in disqualification.

#### Can I analyze company data?
Yes, but it must be authorized for public sharing or properly anonymized.

#### What if I don't have data to analyze?
Use any of the suggested public datasets (Kaggle, CDC Wonder, NOAA, SEC, Maven Analytics, and more) listed on the **[community hackathon thread](https://community.prophecy.ai/)**.

#### When/where are winners announced?
By **9:00 AM PST on May 18th, 2026** on the Prophecy Community.

### IP & Privacy

#### Do I keep ownership of my submission?
Yes, but by entering you grant Prophecy a royalty-free license to use and promote your submission for marketing purposes.

#### How is my personal info used?
